House Rules

We want every guest to feel relaxed and at home, so we kindly ask everyone to follow these simple house rules during your stay. They help keep the space comfortable, safe and enjoyable for all.

Respect for the Space

Please treat the room and shared areas with care. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported so we can put things right quickly.

Noise

We’re a peaceful rural property. Please keep noise to a reasonable level, especially in the evenings, so everyone can enjoy a restful stay.

Smoking

Smoking is allowed only in the outdoor seating areas. Please use the ashtrays provided.

Eating & Food

Each room now has its own table and chairs, so you’re welcome to enjoy meals or snacks privately in your space. If you use any plates, cutlery, glasses or other items, please return them to the dining area once you’ve finished your meal so everything stays clean and ready for the next use. You may also use the dining room if you prefer — we just ask that it’s treated as a shared area and left tidy.

Bathroom Use

Both bathrooms at Muddy Puddles Farm use a septic system, so all toilet paper must go in the bin provided, not in the toilet. This applies to every bathroom on the property. It helps prevent blockages and keeps everything running smoothly for all guests.

Outdoor Areas

You’re welcome to enjoy the garden, including the sunny seating area and the shaded seating area for hot days. Please be mindful of other guests and our animals.

Animals on the Property

We have friendly dogs and chickens on the farm. Please supervise children around them and keep pets under control at all times.

Pets

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Please ensure they are well‑behaved and do not disturb other guests or animals.

Parking

Parking is off‑road, directly outside our house, on a very quiet street. It’s easy to access and free to use throughout your stay.
